The third release from Echodub
DFRNT's second Echodub release 'EDUB003', brings us more of that spacey, chilled atmospheric, yet melodic production, coupled with fellow label-mate King slaFF's re-working skills.
'Lounge' is a smooth organ-led exploration in to downtempo dubstep, with an ethereal synth line sitting over a beat which would best be described as 'flowing'.
'Wake Up' is a wider, more soundtrack-based piece, building up to an incredibly chilled drop which sounds like a cross between the sounds of an underwater utopia, and sunrise over a winter landscape.
King slaFF stands forth on remix duties for 'Lounge' and brings us a new angle on the track. Beats, synths and percussion all get thrown in, re-arranged and extracted into an exemplary compliment to the original.
